They have really good rates for shared hosting. Real competitive rates. I liked it.

I have used 1&1 and found them to be reliable, affordable, and the customer service is excellent. They are very patient with newbies like me.

I have been with HostGator for over two years now – have never seen my site down, have received quick, friendly, helpful, and non-patronizing assistance for even the most noobish of questions. Love CPanel, appreciate the timely reminders to renew service, and have no complaints.

Hostmonster might be good if you're just creating a web site for personal use, but if you're building a professional site its not.

Ive had so many problems, Hostmonster forces you to contact their tech sup to set up certain features that other hosts allow you to do yourself.

Unfortunately, I spoke to other webmasters/web designers who had the same problem with them.

Have been with them for 3 years with the reseller account, I had hosted in the Us before this but found the network latency and support not to be the best. I get a very prompt reply on any support issues from their team and the servers are fast and reliable.
